A 1200 Iron Sportster in the famous AMF retro color combination is both a classic Sportster look but packs the punch of the modern 1200cc Sportster motor.

There is a small dent on the right side of the tank, barely noticeable and a little bigger one on the left front of the tank hidden behind the handlebar. There is also a paint peeling defect on the rear fender, which should be addressed. We can send out the fender for repaint for $450 extra. The bike is mostly stock with new pipes and some small upgrades. A great everyday all around town runner with style and comfort. Nothing to do on this bike but ride it and enjoy. This bike had mid size apes installed that have been brought back to stock but the cable are still longer and can be re-converted to mid apes.

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
