This is an amazing deal for anybody who is looking for a Sportster. The bike has original 7,200 miles and has been cared for. Unfortunately parked the two months outside so there is small surface rust on some minor parts. Overall, the bike has been kept very well and clearly was someone’s pride and joy. Keep up the maintenance and you will have a ride to enjoy for decades. Fuel injected, maintenance is easy, just a perfect small hop-around town bike. Front and rear tires should be replaced ($440). Fresh oil change just done!

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
