This bike is in excellent condition. Harley really went all out for this special edition of their anniversary Sportster 1200 cc model. The EVO engine runs strong and doesn’t have any leaks. In the detail for example of the decals, the 100th anniversary logo on the tank is a medallion attached to the tank. This 2003 model is getting harder to find, one that is in as excellent condition as this one. I am the third owner and bought the bike in June ’09 with 11,498 miles on her, and put 3,176 miles on her. The Metzler tires were brand new at that time, and the rear tire is wider than stock. The bike has been garage kept, and covered during the off riding season with a Harley indoor/outdoor cover that conveys with the bike. The fluids have been changed every 3,000 miles and Harley synthetic oil has been used. The 15,000 mile tune-up was just done ($330.00). She has Vance and Hines pipes that sound excellent. A stage one rejetting kit was installed by Harley. As can be seen from the pictures, there is a lot of chrome on this bike. Here is a partial list of the chrome: Tappet cover, master cylinder cover, Live to Ride mirrors, ignition cover, oil tank, module cover, battery cover, Vance & Hines pipes, Brake inserts, front axle covers, turn signal housings. I’m sure I forgot a couple of chrome items because there is so much of it. To the best of my knowledge this is an accurate description of the motorcycle. Since I bought it, I added the “crash guards”, highway pegs, and bought a ‘Sundowner” seat that conveys with the bike (original seat with 100th anniversary logo has been re-installed), and a ‘quick release’ detachable compact windshield.
