81 low-rider, 1340cc. 4-speed transmission. Kick/elect. start. The engine and trans. have both been gone through. The engine was rebuilt just before I purchased the bike in November of 1999. The previous owner started having back trouble and could no longer ride. I Had the transmission done about 6 months later when I took much of bike apart for improvements that are listed later. The gears in the tranny looked fine but all of the bearings were replaced along with the tranny shaft. I spent about $800 on the transmission. I have put about 10,000 miles on the bike since I have had it and it still runs strong. The origonal dash was replaced by previous owner with a classic style that was used I think around the 40's or 50's (see pics). Therefor I do not know "actual" milage. Other improvements include a BDL primary belt-drive, new clutches, 5 stud clutch hub, and new Barnett springs, wide-glide frontend, dual disk front brakes, 21" twisted spoke front wheel, solid aluminum sturgis rear wheel, custom paint, fat bob tanks and quick bob rear fender, mukuni carb. with K&N filter, White bros. "chubby" handle bars, tach., Dyna electronic ignition, GMA rear brake kit with all steel braided brake lines (front and rear),drag pipes with power cones, new battery, and new forword controls. Other misc. items that have been replaced over the past couple of years include a starter, starter solenoid, battery and starter cables, and many other chrome pieces and misc. items. The bike runs great. It has been well maintained and has been very dependable. It has been to the east coast and back with no problems. Also included with the bike is a sissy bar and saddle bags. The bike is not a "show" bike, but it is one of the cleaner shovels you will find. It is ALWAYS garage kept. If you want that Loud, old school Harley sound, then this is the bike for you.
