Riding season is quickly approaching and this 2006 Kawasaki VN900B Classic in excellent condition is awaiting a new owner. My reason for selling is that over years, I have reduced by riding time significantly and recently acquired a Miata ND Mx5 convertible – my new fun ride that my wife loves!

With 903 cc, the engine delivers exceptional roll-on acceleration, easier maneuverability and great performance with the styling and appearance that grabs attention and allows you ride comfortably with other cruisers in this class. Curved engine fins add visual interest to the traditional look of the big, fuel-injected V-twin, while the four valves per cylinder, liquid-cooled reliability, and smooth highway cruising aided by the engine’s counter balancer make this a worthy new entry in Kawasaki’s Vulcan stable. This Vulcan 900 Classic features a belt drive that reduces overall weight and improves rear-end styling. It comes with a large, 180mm wide rear tire, largest in the category giving it the beefy, “big bike” look accompanied by the classic V-twin sound evoking the feel of a much larger motorcycle.

I am 5’ 8” and found this bike to be very comfortable on long rides with a low seat height and its tapered seat that flows comfortably into a large 5.3-gallon capacity fuel tank and lower chassis rails that result in a narrowed shape, which makes it comfortable for all riders. I have experienced many enjoyable rides spending hours in the saddle with occasional stops for refreshment. The extremely comfortable ride is due to its wide handlebars and well-positioned footboards. I fitted a backrest for passenger’s comfort and security.

Over the years, I have serviced this bike regularly – it has only 19,991 miles on the odometer, no accidents and never been laid down, garage kept and comes with fitted windscreen, saddlebags and backrest. Oil and filter changed and ready for its new owner. Priced right at $3,350.
