1979 Honda CB 750K – Low Miles - Excellent Condition – Custom Metal-Flake Paint

1979 Honda CB 750K motorcycle. Only 7,644 original miles. Runs strong. Comes with special “metal flake” paint that when struck by light, speckles and glitters with every color in the rainbow.

Registered in New Jersey as an historic vehicle.

Aside from the trunk, wind screen and muffler pipes, bike is ALL ORIGINAL. The muffler pipes were taken from another 1979 CB 750K and are in excellent condition. The trunk also dates back to the period. The windscreen was added new in 2000.

I am the second owner. In the last four years, I’ve ridden it for only 108 miles. It’s time to let someone else enjoy this machine.

The tires are original and as such are 42 years old. Both tires look good, hold air fine and ride well. I left them on to keep it as original as possible. They should be replaced if the new owner puts the cycle on the road.

Oil, oil filter and air filter have been changed on a regular basis, more frequently than called for by Honda. The entire front brake system was recently rebuilt by Honda mechanics and is in great shape. The oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs were just changed and are unused except for recently starting the bike to check all systems out. The battery is brand new and used for only two starts. The gas has had fuel stabilizer added. It has not been started in months because the carbs are gas free. I will run it for seriously interested buyers only.

This bike has NEVER seen rain. It has been 100% garage kept and always under cover. Everything works as it should. The only thing I would point out is that the plastic mounts for the rear directional signals have a crack, which is typical for a bike that is more than 40 years old. The directional lamps are all secure and are original to the bike. If desired, these mounts can be purchased new on the Internet. They are inexpensive. I left them on the bike because I want it as original as possible.

Also included is the original tool kit located under the seat and the full Clymer Honda 1979 – 1980 Service/Repair/Maintenance Manual.
