It also has a rigid air cooled 1690cc Twin Cam 103B counter-balanced engine with Automatic Compression Release. The Harley-Davidson Softail Slim has the Six Speed Cruise Drive transmission and a 5 gallon fuel tank, a low seat height of 23.8 inches and a wheelbase of 64.4 inches for better handling and control of the Softail Slim even while stopped.
